This means that the app won't get your personal email address, but you can still see the emails they send to you and you can deactivate any single temporary email at any time.
It is worth noting that the ability to hide email addresses has existed since iOS 13's "Login with Apple" feature, but Apple has expanded its scope of application in iOS 15. If you use "Login with Apple", this feature is still free; but if you pay to use iCloud Plus (even the most basic 50GB storage, for just $1 per month), you can create temporary for more apps and services. Get the full advantage of the "Hide My Email" feature
You can use the Hide My Email feature in several ways. The most practical way is to use it when you actually register a service. By default, these accounts forward messages to your iCloud address, but there is a Forward to option that allows you to select from the list of other inbox options.
