在My Oracle Support上查了一下最新的TimesTen版本 11.2.2.8.0的支持列表。 支持的操作系統(tǒng) Apple Mac OS X (Intel) (64-bit) HP-UX Itanium IBM AIX on POWER Systems (32-bit/64-bit) Linux (x86/86-64) Microsoft Windows (32-bit/64-bit) Oracle Solaris

其實(shí)用的最多的還是Linux，支持的版本為：

其實(shí)TimesTen支持虛擬化還是有必要的，TimesTen作為應(yīng)用層緩存，應(yīng)該歸入到中間件的范疇，有的用戶中間層全部用虛擬化實(shí)現(xiàn)，這時(shí)TimesTen對于VMware, Xen和Hyper-V的支持就比較重要了。不過，Oracle秉承對于Oracle數(shù)據(jù)庫的同樣策略，就是不支持除OVM之外的hypervisor, :(
我在Workstation和VirtualBox上跑TimesTen，一點(diǎn)問題都沒有，而且測試的時(shí)候比HP的刀片還快，:)
支持的中間件
這里只談Oracle自己的中間件ODI和GoldenGate
對于GoldenGate支持將TimesTen作為目標(biāo)，也就是可以將其它數(shù)據(jù)庫的數(shù)據(jù)加載到TimesTen，這時(shí)TimesTen作為integration point，反之則不行。
ODI也一樣，可以將支持SQL-92標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的數(shù)據(jù)庫的數(shù)據(jù)加載到TimesTen。
TimesTen作為數(shù)據(jù)集成點(diǎn)的典型用法是在Exalytics中，作為內(nèi)存中的aggregation和Data Mart。
正如 TimesTen Replication Using GoldenGate: Sample Configuration (Doc ID 1099523.1) 所說：
GoldenGate now provides the ability to pass data from Oracle to TimesTen. At this time, the only possible configuration is a Master:Subscriber format from Oracle to TimesTen where data and transactions on that data can be replicated from an Oracle database to a TimesTen database; it is presently not possible to replicate data from TimesTen to Oracle.
支持的集群軟件
只支持Oracle自己的ClusterWare，版本為11.2.0.2，11.2.0.3和11.2.0.4
ClusterWare對于構(gòu)建TimesTen集群非常重要！

這里并非所有的版本都支持所有的數(shù)據(jù)庫，例如對于X86-64 RHEL 6，就只支持11.2.0.3之后的版本。
