There are a total of ten challenges in The Foundry that range from getting various high scores to performing certain tricks in specific locations. This guide will tell you how to complete each goal in this area so you don't end up skating in circles.
How To Complete Every Foundry Goal
The Foundry can be an overwhelming area when you first dive into it and is full of working machinery that can get in the way when you're in the middle of a combo. Below is a table that will help you understand how to complete each goal, and further down will be more specific information about some of the hardest challenges within the level.

How To Complete |
---|---|
High Score - 10,000 |
When you drop onto the map, acid drop into the half pipe in front of you, and start to combo flip and grab tricks to build up your special meter. Carefully use special tricks to rack up points, and don't forget to revert when you land to extend your combos. |

Collect S-K-A-T-E |
The letters are scattered across the first floor of the Foundry. You need to collect all five letters within a two-minute run to complete this goal. |
Indy Over the Half Pipe |
As soon as you enter the Foundry, hold X/A to charge an ollie. When you hit the ramp ahead of you, hold the grab trick button while holding right on the control stick to perform the right trick over the half pipe. |
Soak the Foreman |
Knock the foundry's foreman into a pool by grinding on a rail with a control panel. Head right after you start the run to see a pool of water and a man with a red tie beside the panel. |
Grind the Molten Bucket |
The molten bucket only appears a few times during each run, so this goal will require some patience. When it tips over the pool of lava, get some air and grind on it to complete this goal. |
Un-Jam Five Valves |
There are five valves on the walls of the main floor that you need to fix by grinding on the rails in front of them. They are easy to spot if you look for panicked employees in front of the gears or if you notice steam coming from them. |
Get the Secret Tape |
The secret tape in The Foundry is found on one of the beams on the second floor. You can get there by landing on the catwalk above the main floor and following it to a booth that leads to the tape. |
Collect S-K-A-T-E
The letters for S-K-A-T-E appear around the main floor of The Foundry. If you're having difficulty finding them, just follow these instructions.
- When the run begins, go down the ramp in front of you and turn left before you hit the half pipe. Go around the half pipe, and you'll see the S floating over a quarter pipe against the wall.
- After you get the S, continue skating toward the two industrial fans built into the walls. The K will be in front of the fan on the right side.
- Head to the giant compressor in the middle of the level. You'll notice the A floating on a grindable platform on the right side.
- Once you get the A, continue to head straight until you see the T on a yellow grindrail that surrounds the molten bucket area.
- Finally, you can find the E against the same wall as the S, it's just on the opposite side, above another quarter pipe.
When you drop onto the map, go down the main path but take a sharp right before you reach the half pipe. Hug the wall on the right until you ride up a ramp. Look across the water to your left, and you'll see a man with a red tie. Grind on the yellow rail behind him to activate the control panel that makes a hook push the foreman into the pool of water.
Grind The Molten Bucket
The molten bucket only appears a few times each run, and you'll need to wait for it to tip over before you can grind on it. It's on the opposite side of where you spawn at the start. Head over and go to the same floor where the lava pool is. You can see yellow lines on the floor. Use them to line yourself up with the bucket's handles, gain some momentum, and you should be able to land on it.
Use no comply or boneless when you jump for extra height (tap up on the control stick once or twice before jumping), and make sure your special meter is full for extra speed. This is without a doubt the hardest goal in the Foundry, so it might take you a few attempts before you succeed.
Un-Jam Five Valves
There are five broken valves hidden throughout the Foundry when you start skating around it. From where you begin the run, there are three on the right wall and two on the left wall. If you're struggling to find them, just follow these instructions to complete this goal.
- When you start the level, immediately turn right and hug the wall in front of you. You'll find the first broken valve at the bottom of the first ramp.
- Continue to hang against the wall and head up a steel ramp. You'll find the second broken valve on the wall facing a small pool of water, and the man with the red tie who works beside the control panel for Soak the Foreman.
- Go straight some more, and you'll find the third broken valve beside the long yellow rail that you found the T on for the Collect S-K-A-T-E goal.
- After you fix the third valve, follow the path that loops around the end of the Foundry, and you will discover the fourth valve on the wall right across from where the third one was.
- The fifth and final valve is found on the same wall as the fourth and is located between the spots where you found the S and K for S-K-A-T-E.
Completing this goal will permanently unlock the doors to the Generator Core behind the spot where you start each run.
Get The Secret Tape
The secret tape is located on one of the beams on the second floor of the Foundry. When you start the run, ollie off the ramp to your right onto the catwalk. Follow the path until it turns left into a giant booth. There is a glass wall that you need to break through to get the secret tape.
