Google Chrome is introducing updates to modify and enhance the search suggestions displayed in its browser's search bar. The updates include a "people also search for" section, which shows what others are searching for. Additionally, Google will display image thumbnails for certain search suggestions within Chrome.
I think several of these features have already been active on the primary Google.com search platform for quite some time.
Chrome search suggestions
When you're logged into your Google account, the search bar will present suggestions based on what others are searching for. Google stated, “you’ll see suggestions in the Google Search box related to your previous searches based on similar things others are looking for.”
Here’s a screenshot shared by Google, although we've observed Google implement this on the main search results page for years now.

Google will now display more image thumbnails alongside search suggestions. According to Google, “Android and iOS, Chrome will now show helpful images for broader shopping categories and products based on a simpler search, like ‘bohemian table.’”
We’ve also noticed this feature from Google dating back to 2019.
