Visiting the Mysterious Tree
As the release date for The Sims 4's upcoming expansion draws closer, players have the opportunity to earn in-game rewards by taking part in the Nature's Calling event leading up to the launch of The Sims 4: Enchanted by Nature. Each week presents a new set of tasks, and completing them earns you points that can be used to unlock items like the Flowing Fronds Swimwear and various crafting recipes.
Some of these tasks involve sending your Sims to specific locations and finishing objectives there, but if you're not well-versed in the different world options and their respective neighborhoods, this can become frustrating as you try to locate the right area.
Finding the Mysterious Tree Location
The Nature's Calling event asks you to visit the Mysterious Tree, but doesn't provide much detail on what it is or where to find it. Fortunately, it exists in a world accessible with just the base game, meaning you don’t need any expansion packs to complete this task. When you're ready to go, open your Sim's phone menu, select Travel, and then head to Willow Creek.
Once in Willow Creek, choose a lot in the Foundry Cove neighborhood, located at the bottom right corner of the map. This area contains only residential lots by default, but follow the river until you spot a tree with a twisted trunk unlike any other trees nearby. Since it's situated directly along the riverbank, you shouldn't have trouble finding it this way.
Visiting the Mysterious Tree
The objective involving the Mysterious Tree simply requires your Sim to pay it a visit. Once you've found the tree, click on it and choose the option for your Sim to visit it. It might take a moment for your Sim to reach the tree and finish the action, which could give the impression that the event task isn't registering properly. However, if you wait a little while, the task should eventually complete, even though some actions in The Sims 4 may feel slightly delayed.
