Google has confirmed a problem with the real-time analytics functionality in Google Analytics, specifically GA4. Since early this morning, many accounts are displaying zero real-time traffic; others are showing only a small portion of their usual levels, while some continue to see normal activity.
Google is addressing the issue. Ginny Marvin, who serves as Google’s Ads Liaison, replied on X: “Thanks for flagging. This is a bug and the team is working on it. Apologies for the inconvenience!”
Here's the post:
Why this matters. If you've noticed a significant drop or a complete absence of real-time visitors through Google Analytics, know that you're not the only one. This is an issue on Google's end, and they expect to fix it shortly.
We understand that many website owners were alarmed by these reports, but rest assured, it's simply a bug.

Update: The issue has now been resolved. Thank you for your patience!
