Getting Persona Seals
As you play through Persona 5: The Phantom X, you will find that your main character must obtain Persona Seals to fuse new personas and complete the Persona Compendium. There are several methods for acquiring these seals, though they are all interconnected. These seals are not only useful for fusing new personas but also for granting your favorite ones additional skills from other personas, which is essential in making them stronger.
Using Persona Seals
At first glance, they might not seem particularly valuable, but it's wise to collect multiple per persona.
Persona Seals are necessary for gathering and fusing some of the most powerful demons in the game. This process will require more Persona Seals from previous personas you've captured or encountered who join your team. Another effective use for these seals is Persona Training, where you can apply these seals to give a strong persona a random skill from the pool offered by the seal.
For instance, giving Hell Biker the Matador Seal could grant him either Resist Forget I, Psy Boost I, or Mapsi. This adds another dimension to gameplay, encouraging you to thoughtfully select which skills to add to your strong personas rather than randomly applying them, thereby ensuring smoother future battles. Adding resistances against weaknesses or strong attacks to exploit enemy vulnerabilities significantly diversifies how you approach the game.
Getting Persona Seals
The first place to look for seals is the Exchange Shop.
Start by browsing the Exchange Shop to locate your desired seals. Within this shop, head to the Challenge Rewards section, which showcases various available seals. However, each tier of Persona requires different types of medals gathered during Realm of Repression fights that introduce new Personas.
For example, Repression Medal I can be collected from Realm of Repression dungeons located on the first three levels, while a Repression Medal III comes from the final two dungeon levels. This will be your primary method for initially obtaining seals at the cost of Stamina, at least until you’ve gathered enough medals to directly buy your preferred Persona Seals.
You’ll also receive numerous extra seals throughout the main story events. Any additional ones needed for fusions can be purchased from the exchange shop once you've defeated them in the Realm of Repression or fused them within the Velvet Room.
Persona Seals are an excellent resource to accumulate, helping strengthen your chosen personas equipped on Wonder. They may seem tedious to gather at first, but the ability to acquire free basic personas from the main story and purchase them from the Exchange Shop afterward streamlines the process. Just remember to level up your personas as you grow stronger and equip them with ideal skills from others.
