Pokémon Go Hyper Training explained

Hyper Training is set to launch in Pokémon Go on Monday 23rd June at 10am (local time), coinciding with the Ancient Recovered event and Go Pass Deluxe: Ancients Recovered. It offers players the ability to enhance all of the IV stats of a selected Pokémon. (However, achieving this enhancement will require some effort!)

Once available, you must fulfill these conditions if you wish to Hyper Train a Pokémon:

• Pokémon must be a Good Buddy or higher
• A Gold Bottle Cap
• Selected trainee is not a Shadow Pokémon

It's worth noting that Gold Bottle Caps are rare items in Pokémon Go and will only be distributed during special events, much like Master Balls. Because of their rarity, you should carefully decide which Pokémon you choose to Hyper Train!

Thankfully, making a Pokémon a Good Buddy requires just one Heart to reach this level. If your chosen Pokémon isn't already a Good Buddy, simply assign them as your buddy and either play with them once, take a photo with them, or feed them three berries to earn that first Heart.

After fulfilling both requirements, give the Gold Bottle Cap to your trainee Pokémon to begin the Hyper Training process!

From this point onward, Hyper Training will take 365 days (one full year) to complete. You can establish Training Goals by choosing how much you want to raise its Attack, Defense and HP IV stats. (This is especially useful if you're preparing to use it in the Go Battle League!) These goals can be adjusted later if desired.
