Browse all Soulstone Survivors To upgrade weapons in Soulstone Survivors, you must first craft every weapon for that specific character. You can’t skip ahead or upgrade early. Once all weapons are crafted, the upgrade option unlocks at the Blacksmith.
How to Start Upgrading Weapons
Step 1: Level up your character
Most weapons won’t unlock until your character reaches level 70. You can check your level on the character select screen.
Step 2: Craft every weapon
Use materials earned from runs to craft all four available weapons for your chosen character. This step is mandatory before any upgrades can be made.
Step 3: Visit the Blacksmith
Once all weapons are crafted, go to the Blacksmith. You’ll now see an option to upgrade one of your crafted weapons.
Step 4: Upgrade through tiers
Each weapon can be upgraded multiple times. The highest tier is Artifact, indicated by a deep red color. Reaching this tier takes a lot of resources and time, but each level increases your weapon’s stats and unlocks special effects at the highest level.
Weapon Upgrades Unlock Artifact Power
When a weapon reaches Artifact Tier, it also gains a unique passive called Artifact Power, which activates after every 25 skills you cast. You can view its description on the weapon tooltip.
Tips for Upgrading Faster
- Focus on one character at a time
- Farm Curse levels for more upgrade materials
- Speed up runs with builds that clear fast for quicker farming
