The iOS 12.5.6 update delivers essential security fixes and should be applied to any compatible older device that cannot install iOS 15.6.1, which includes the same vulnerability patch.
This software update is available for devices such as the iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 5s, iPod touch 6th generation, iPad Air, iPad mini 2, and iPad mini 3.

How to Download & Update to iOS 12.5.6
