Where To Find Basalt Stone
You’ll mostly find Basalt Stone on the left side of the map, particularly around these areas:
- Eastern Shield Wall
- Western Shield Wall
- The O'Odham
- Mysa Tarill
- Sheol
Though Basalt Stone can appear throughout these general regions, there are certain spots within them that are more reliable for gathering it efficiently.
Mysa Tarill 
Compared to other parts of this half of the map, Mysa Tarill is much more open and vehicle-friendly, making it an ideal location for harvesting Basalt Stone.
Eastern Shield Wall 
The Eastern Shield Wall is another excellent area to mine for Basalt Stone, especially since it lies adjacent to Jamal Eifrit Al-Gharb and is close to the Vermillius Gap.
How To Use Basalt Stone 
The most common use for Basalt Stone is the refinement of Plastone.
Plastone is a durable building material known for being resistant to sandstorms, and it's also used in creating various faction-themed decorative items from both the Atreides and Harkonnens.
Depending on your refinery type, you'll need three components to create Plastone:
- Basalt Stone
- Silicone Block
- Water
Plastone is produced in larger batches, and you can refine up to 250 units at once, depending on your refinery's capacity.
