The map for Dune: Awakening is not only massive in size, but also packed with obstacles and difficult terrain. Without a clear idea of where you're heading and how to get there, it's easy to run into trouble. One such challenge you may encounter arises when you need to locate the slavers on Arrakis, a ruthless gang involved in slave trading alongside the Harkonnens.
However, if you're searching for the slaver-controlled areas—whether for a mission or gear—you've come to the right place. Here’s everything you need to know about locating the slavers in Dune: Awakening.
Who Are The Slavers?
Most parts of the Dune: Awakening map are controlled by specific groups or factions. For instance, House Atreides governs the settlement of Arrakeen, while much of the Vermillius Gap falls under Kirab control.
Where To Find The Slavers
As a faction, the slavers mainly inhabit the Jabal Eifrit area, located toward the northern part of the map, just north of the Vermillius Gap and west of the Hagga Rift.
How To Complete The Kill Ten Slavers Contract
When you arrive at the Anvil, a settlement situated within the Vermillius Gap, you'll witness a cutscene featuring a confrontation between a member of House Atreides and one from House Harkonnen.
By speaking with the House Atreides representative, Lieutenant Anton Tolliver, you’ll be given a series of tasks to demonstrate your allegiance to the house.
One of these tasks involves eliminating ten slavers, which is among the key contracts that require you to track them down.
Note that if you're considering pledging yourself to House Harkonnen, it may be wise to refrain from interacting with Tolliver or completing his missions.
Once you've accepted this contract, a marker will appear on your map, pointing you toward Jabal Eifrit. However, keep in mind that this location is a general area, not a precise destination.
To efficiently complete the task, visit each Intel Base located throughout the Jabal Eifrit region. By doing so, you'll easily fulfill the contract and boost your reputation with House Atreides.
