ZZZ 1.6 banners feature a new version of Anby and, finally, a fresh A-rank Agent named Pulchra
Mar 04, 2025 am 10:09 AMThe ZZZ 1.6 banners are set to shake things up a bit, with the first new A-rank Agent in almost half a year and a shiny new Anby. There's a second S-rank Agent alongside New Anby as well and a Zhu Yuan rerun, so if you're tired of having no Ether partner for Nicole, this is the banner to pay attention to.
Our ZZZ 1.6 banners guide breaks down who's in each banner and when they go live.

ZZZ 1.6 banners – Phase 1
The first round of banners goes live with ZZZ 1.6 on March 12, 2025, or late on March 11, 2025, depending on your timezone. They feature:
- Anby – Soldier 0 (Electric, Attack)
- Burnice (Fire, Anomaly)
- Pulchra (Physical, Stun)
- Ben (Fire, Defense)
HoYoverse showed a little of Anby – Silver Soldier during the version update's official trailer and said in a press release that her skills mark her target so all allies attacking that same target deal extra crit damage. From the sound of things, she'll make an excellent choice for battles against sturdy boss enemies, though if you're happy with your current S-rank setup, it's worth waiting to see how useful this Anby is before spending your tapes on her.
Burnice is one of the strongest Anomaly characters in ZZZ as of version 1.6, up there with Miyabi and Yanagi. She applies fire buildup, deals heavy damage, and has a passive that lets allies continue building fire anomaly while Burnice is off-field.
ZZZ 1.6 banners – Phase 2
The second round of banners goes live on April 2, 2025, with another S-rank newcomer.
- Trigger (Electric, Stun)
- Zhu Yuan (Ether, Attack)
- Lucy (Fire, Support)
- Billy (Physical, Attack)
Trigger is a sniper who excels at evading incoming attacks and afflicting enemies with Aftershock, a status that makes them take more damage from allies. Broadly speaking, it seems like fitting Trigger into a party might be easier than with Anby – Soldier 0, unless you have teams already built around crit damage.
Then there's Zhu Yuan, who's remained at the top of most tier lists since her first banner in 2024. She's exceptionally powerful, though requires careful planning to maximize her damage output, and she's one of just three sources of Ether damage in the game. Nicole is free and a useful support, but if you skipped Astra Yao and need Ether damage in your teams, it's worth considering Zhu Yuan.
